BCFG Certified – Our aim is to maintain a culture that aligns with the Benefit Corporation philosophy. Benefit Corporations for Good assessed our values and performance to ensure we’re operating within the standards of a Benefit Corporation. Our authenticity, accountability, messaging and diversity is high. Overall, we are in alignment with the principles and operate with the best interests of our employees, customers, communities and the environment.
In-Kind Donations
In 2023 the 4th Annual E-Recycling PDX Event was held at the non-profit Rose Haven, on August 26th from 10am – 4p. More details can be found at both E-RecyclingPDX.com and getlagosnow.com/4th-annual-e-recycling-pdx-event-aug-26-2023
In 2023 we’re happy to announce that Rose Haven received 4 refurbished laptops, and 3 I-phones.
Raphael House received 1 refurbished laptop and two desktops. All refurbishing is completed by Strategic IT – a Windows certified IT company in Portland, Oregon.
Blanchet House received 8 newly refurbished laptops to fully stock the NEW Resource Center in Carlton, Oregon, also for the Farm management to use and the last two were given to residents in the process of job search efforts.
Cash Donation & Equipment Donations
26% of total company profits were donated to local non-profits in both cash and new technology donations.
Volunteerism
Volunteer Hours – The Get Lagos Now Team had a total of 73 hrs. in volunteerism recorded supporting Portland, Oregon non-profits. Currently the Founder & Managing CEO, Michelle Lagos, also serves on the Blanchet House – Board of Directors.
Volunteer Driving Miles – The Get Lagos Now Team drove a total of 172 miles in volunteer miles in 2023.
