What services does your organization provide?
Our association represents the 45 local government conservation districts in Oregon. As their trade association, we keep them informed of federal and state grant opportunities, legislation and regulation that can affect their operations. We provide workshops and an annual conference as well as ongoing webinars. We are part of the Oregon Conservation Partnership (watershed councils, land trusts and conservation districts) who provide services to our over 120 members.
Why do you work with Get Lagos Now
Get Lagos Now built our new carbon sequestration website which was produced under a grant from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. This will allow us to provide programs and tools to our conservation districts so that they in return can assist rural and urban community members in carrying out the technical services on working and natural lands. We found Get Lagos Now as a result of recommendations from others we work with and the quality websites they produced for others. We couldn’t be happier with our new website. The resulting design was very effective in relaying our work to our members and the public. oacdcarbon.org
